COVID-19 Update

Dear Parents and Carers,

You may have seen advice from the Prime Minister last night that NSW schools will remain open. The Prime Minister indicated that parents may choose to keep their children at home. A number of families at Five Islands have made this decision for a range of personal reasons including the complex nature of our students health and wellbeing. We thank you for making this sensible decision.

We are doing our best to implement social distancing and strict protocols regarding hygiene but as you could appreciate this is very difficult in a special school.

If your child/children are sick, please keep them at home so that we can look after the wellbeing of our students and staff. Any students who present at school unwell, will be sent home.

We will keep everyone informed of any new developments in the coming days and weeks. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
