Each Friday our students eagerly participate in drumming sessions with Aaron Hood. Aaron is an experienced Music Teacher who providesthe students with a variety of musical opportunities. Students use a variety of percussion instruments duringthis lesson including "bucket drums", guitars, rhythm sticks, triangles and maraca's. The benefits of actively listening to and participating in music making include providing relief from anxiety or stress and improvementof mood. Our drumming sessions are a great way to help enhance the wellbeing of all students at Five Islands School.
