Students at Five Islands School are given opportunities that allow skills developed in the classroom to be practised in other environments. This is particularly pertinent for our high school age students as they prepare for transition to Post School Options.Community based educational programs include buying meals at local food outlets, purchasing items for cooking programs from supermarkets and participating in leisure based activities at parks. Our school owns and maintains two school buses to support these programs. All community access programs are tailored to meet the personalised learning goals of each student.
